Garnet is known to be a powerfully energizing stone (especially cleansing and re-energizing the chakras). It is an energy balancing stone and has long been used as a talisman for warding off danger. Garnet is also believed to inspire love and devotion.
Fun Fact: In ancient Asian territories wearing a Garnet into battle was thought to bring a higher chance of victory!

Emerald
Emerald is called the "Stone of Successful Love" because it is said to open and nurture the heart; it makes sense that it's associated with the Heart Chakra! Emerald is considered a very powerful stone in many cultures, being thought of as bringing abundance, prosperity, and good fortune.
Fun Fact: One of the largest Emeralds ever discovered is the Mogul Emerald weighing in at 217.8 carats (43 g.) and was 10 cm tall.

Bloodstone
Bloodstone is a green quartz or green jasper flecked with red jasper.

Fun Fact: Bloodstone is thought to give courage and enhance the decision making process, making it a great stone for soldiers, police officers, EMTs, and anyone going into confrontational situations where you need to think on your feet.

Amethyst is a widely used stone, in some cases referred to as an "all-purpose" stone because of how often it is utilized. It is believed to enhance spiritual intuition and possess a high spiritual vibration making it a fantastic meditation aid.
Fun Fact: Traditionally it was worn during celebrations because it is believed to prevent drunkenness and promote sobriety!

Diamonds are a member of the Carbon family (in Gemstone-quality crystalline form), and are the defining mineral for 10.0 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness - the hardest known natural substance on Earth! Diamonds are thought to be master healers (like Quartz) that are ideal for harmony in all areas of life.
Fun Fact: The name "Diamond" comes from the Greek word adamas meaning invincible.

Opal is a hydrated amorphous form of silica with a water content of (usually) around 6-10%. Opal is said to stimulate originality and creativity, and help you to express your true self. Opal is commonly referred to as a high-vibration karmic stone, teaching that what you put out is what you receive.
Fun Fact: It is thought that wearing Opal can bring the wearer loyalty, faithfulness, and spontaneity in relationships.

Fun Fact: The largest Sapphire that has been discovered so far is the Millennium Sapphire which was 90,000 carats before it was carved down to 61,500 carats.

Pearl
Pearls are hard glistening (sometimes iridescent) objects produced by living shelled mollusk species. Pearls are made up of calcium carbonate, and have been valued as Gemstones for centuries.
Fun Fact: Pearls are the only jewels created by living creatures, and a natural pearl of value is found in less than 1 in every 10,000 oysters!

Moonstone
Moonstone is a chatoyant member of the Feldspar family, a cousin to Labradorite and Sunstone. It sits at a 6 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness.
Fun Fact: Ancient Romans believed that Moonstone was solidified rays of the moon, and both Romans and Greeks associated Moonstone with lunar deities.

Ruby
Ruby is a pink to crimson colored Gemstone, and a variety of the mineral corundum, like Sapphires. Rubies are thought to be excellent stones for imparting vigor and passion for life, as well as energizing and balancing emotions.
Fun Fact: Ruby is the third strongest stone in the world behind Diamonds and Moissanite.

Peridot is a gem-quality olvine that was once believed to keep away evil spirits! Beyond that, Peridot is thought to be a powerful cleanser, and is said to help release negative patterns like jealousy and resentment; and it is also believed to sharpen the mind.
Fun Fact: Peridot is one of the few gemstones that occurs in just one color: a stunning olive-green!

April and August have something in common...a love of Diamonds! Diamonds are the defining mineral for 10.0 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness - the hardest known natural substance on Earth! Diamonds are thought to be master healers (like Quartz) that are ideal for harmony in all areas of life.
Fun Fact: Diamonds can actually be burned. It takes temperatures between 1290 to 1650 degrees Fahrenheit (or 698 to 898 Celsius) to burn a Diamond; house fires and jewelers' torches can occasionally reach this high heat.

Agate is made up mostly of Chalcedony, and often has a banded appearance. Agates are thought to take you through the layers of yourself, and help you to learn more about who you are, letting go of blockages, and discovering what paths you should be exploring.
Fun Fact: Agates are sometimes associated with the weather and in Persian culture it was said that Agates could help prevent storms.

Jaspers are great for stress relief, thought to bring a gentle calm and nurturing ability. They have been recommended to help with anxiety, reduce nightmares, and help calm the mind for better study habits.
Fun Fact:
The Jasper family contains one of the widest variety of stone types in the world, as stones are often named after their locality, color patterning, and other factors.

Citrine
Citrine is a positive crystal that has long been associated with the sun, and is thought to encourage a sunny disposition. It is said to attract prosperity, positivity, and good health. It is often a stone recommended to lift moods, encourage positive thinking, and bring abundance.
Fun Fact: Most of the Citrine on the market today is actually heat-treated Amethyst! With the heat-treatment the Amethyst becomes chemically identical to Citrine.

Yellow Topaz
Topaz is a silicate mineral of aluminum and fluorine. With a Mohs hardness of 8 Topaz is one of the hardest Gemstones, and Topaz is thought to be an empathetic crystal that motivates, recharges, and stimulates the body. Yellow Topaz in particular is thought to be great for charisma and strengthening the Solar Plexus!
Fun Fact: Because of an inner atomic weakness within Topaz, it must be handled with care because a single strong blow could crack a Topaz in half despite being an 8 on the hardness scale.

With a Mohs hardness of 8 Topaz is one of the hardest Gemstones, and Topaz is thought to be an empathetic crystal that motivates, recharges, and stimulates the body. Fun Fact: Blue Topaz has been referred to as the "Writers Stone" and is believed to aid communication and verbalizing ideas.
